You guys might as well hear the mixed version, remember that picture of Pharrell & Timbaland in the studio, well if you listen to the 2 versions you should be able to figure out what he was doing!

I like this song, but I think the same file got linked twice? Sounds the same, I hear no Timbaland, nor any Timbaland sounding beats/changes. Maybe I’m just confused. Maybe the wrong file was linked and it will get fixed.

lol cadethappy…ur not confused..you just don’t hear it clearly…that’s ok…here are the differences,…drums are clearer, smoother and thump a bit harder. There’s an added bassline to the bridge,(at least i heard one lol), timbo added the scratches, and pharrell talks a little bit more in the beginnig…if you compare the two…the first one sounds good but it’s a little of and there are empty spots to it…and this new mixed one sounds fuller and less empty…i dunno how to describe it lol but there’s a difference.

could be wrong but it sounds like if we had a look at the sound waves from both versions…the first one’s waves would spike more and this one would be compressed to where you didn’t have too much spiking, and not just compressed from it being converted to digital(if it wasn’t already recorded digitally)..but just over all compressed…I dunno….I just think it sounds smoother lol….i’ll shut up now….

ya know…i’ve never really REALLY noticed it until now…but there really is a musicians ear…and a consumers ear..it’s funny how people in the industry who make the music for the consumer, we hear all the crap and then in mixing we fix it…but a majority of consumers wouldn’t know the difference anyways lol. that’s exactly why i’m in school to be producer and not a mastering mixer/regular mixer. I think i’d just get frustrated lmao. like “meh so i listened to it again…so what did you do?”…..”how do you not hear how i just fixed that?”.. LMAO. Anyhoo……ps..I’ma girl people lol
