This is dope, but without being able to see the hand move you’ll never notice when you need to change the batteries. You’ll have to figure out how long the batteries last and then set a reminder to change them every time you put a new pair in the clock. Including a visual display for battery-life would be highly functional.
Hi Smith. According tot he specs, the batteries are going to last 4 years at the least. No one has ever made or used a clock like this so finding out how long 2 AA batteries last is going to be an adventure every owner will take par in. Furthermore, you would be surprised how ‘fast’ the hand moves actually. Our website is a ‘live’ image of the clock photographed at 1pm every day. Knowing that the December 21st Solstice puts the hand at the 12 o’clock position – Take a peek at http://www.thepresent.is and you’ll be introduced to annual time. Hope this helps, thanks!
