Techincally, the video didn’t prove that money can buy happiness. Giving and enjoying life are the things that make people happy.
So, even a person with less monetary wealth can give, enjoy their life and experience the same level of happiness as someone with more substantial wealth.
Bottomline: Happiness is of the heart and mind. Not the pocket.
