    wow
I’m really liking the animal balloon and the heart. k so you’ve been to Versailles, have you guys been to the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain? That’s the closest I’ve come to Versailles…they said it was like a mini Versailles cuz it’s fashioned after it. Nevertheless it’s still breathtaking, and incredible to see.

    OMG!!!!!
I was just doing a google search of Jeff Koons images to show my friend his work minutes ago…….freaky!

    my favourite is puppy :)
puppy graced the shores of Sydney harbour in 1995 sitting in front of the MCA (museum of contemporary art) …..it has sat in front of some of the great art galleries this world has to offer since, like Bilbao guggenheim.
its definitely a highly aesthetic buffet….you dont know what to look @ ………especially in a space like versaille!
unfortunately I wont be heading to Paris soon but i’m sure its a great show!

Yeah koons definitely rules. and there is something about Jeff Koon’s “Michael Jackson and Bubbles” life size in porcelain sitting in the palace of Versailles that makes me smile. :-)

I geek out on the work of Koons. there’s no doubt his work is dope! i like that his art takes a minimalist approach to complicated thinking. He has a way of approaching an idea and stripping away anything unnecessary, leaving a pure idea in it’s most simple form. i dig that. mainly because of the ideas behind the pieces and the eyeball fuckery that they provide.

I would love to have balloon dog displayed in my backyard! some of my favorite pieces from koon’s is, the stainless steel bunny,…and the popeye painting. i’m just enraptured by it all.

and i wonder, how that gigantic upside-down train commissioned for the entrance to LACMA will turn out? i guess we’ll have to wait and see.

but one question though, what do you think of ‘made in heaven’? pretty kinky, much? :-)

Great art, these big monuments reminds a little bit of Claes Oldenburg’s big art works, check it out at http://www.oldenburgvanbruggen.com/lsp.htm. I really like the “flying pins” placed in the Netherlands. http://oldenburgvanbruggen.com/flyingpins.htm.
