Tree Tea House

March 13th, 2009

Here are more pictures from Japan.  Takasugi-an, a tea house in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan designed by Terunobu Fujimori.  Maybe not as fancy as the last tree house we posted from Scandinavia but this looks like a great place to relax and enjoy a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony:

    How in the F do you get up there? Actually, how in the F you get up to the scandinavian one either? both rad though… love both cultures equally… who wouldn’t love to live in a tree!?

    speaking of japanese and scandinavian…

    maybe one day (SOON) i’ll have a quarter african (american), a quarter asian, a quuater scanninavian, an eighth aussie and and an eighth (sephardi) jewish baby one day….

    THIS LOOKS SO CUTE. MORE DECORATIONS WOULD MAKE IT MORE SOOTHING TO STAY THERE AND RELAX WITH PEOPLE YPU LOVE.
