supporting the prodigy?? i was bummed when kool keith collaborated – it’s ironic – i used to actually go SEE the prodigy when i was young (like 15) and i loved it, but i was fuct up on drugs and a stupid culture. my life was drugs, lollypops and baggy jeans for fuck’s sake! this whole rave resurgence is spinning me out- sure – i LOVE spank rock etc (not really the same though.. but., still, a guilty [though ironic] pleasure)…. kids should be thinking of different shit now… the world was in a dire crisis when i was going to raves as a kid, but i didn’t give a fuck – neither do new young ‘ravers’ – nor ravers that are just (sorta) reliving it all… i mean even the sample “smack my bitch up” from critical beatdown by ultras was SO taken outta context by the prodigy – sure they had some chick in the filmclip, but it still advocated violence towards women and the degradation of them… i mean, i hope KK meant it ironically (which i think he did) but to sample that was stepping over the line… i mean – look at how females treat each other!
yeah, raves were fun, and now raves seem to have come back 15 (or whatever) years later but… is it that good? to have a generation of our best and brightest fucking up so they’re never again the best and brightest? sure, i mean, some get through it… i was lucky and got through uni and shit – but only cause i was good at art – then i discovered i was smarter than i thought i was, but i’ve seen so many tragedies and deaths… which were so unnecessary – just for the sake of partying getting outta hand… i dunnow, i guess i’m being an absolute hypocrite – cause i was was a rave and house party kid (music – not a ‘house’…)- and now i’m being moralistic – but i pretty much gave it up before i was 18… then i got into smoking heroin and using coke just on a daily basis (coke when i was a teen was ‘recreational’ but after that it became something else…) just to have an OK day… i’m lucky i was at college… otherwise i’m sure i’d be dead…
yeah, i know there are worse problems in the US, but i think everything needs an overhaul – and better role models… i mean, what kids are going to go to raves and make the most out of their lives – apart from a gifted minority?
OK.. getting off my soap box now…
and i love talent, just it seems to lead kids onto the wrong path… and i feel so sad about that…
we can’t always give kids the benefit of the doubt! sometimes they fuck up up and die, have a fuct up life or get into bad shit and fuck up others…
it makes me upset! but still, it’s a catch-22… we might get a bunch of little moral retads that have never seen shit, are text-book and control the future! that’s worse!!!! why is it all so complex!

i hope you got the msg after the last one – my computer decided to have a fit… and turned off suddenly momentarily – i have an epeleptic computer! it basically said we don’t want a whole bunch of moralistic, textbook retards running our world either! it’s a catch-22! why is life so upsetting and complex ( and this is leaving out the ABSOLUTE majority of the world’s problems!!!!!!!!!!)

i could go on and on now, but i won’t… all i can say is think about your mother’s, sister’s and daughter’s and you would want THEM to be treated.. not like some ‘ho’.
