i agree with artisresolution, but maybe… form is form and function is fuction pretending to utilise the other… meaning… people dun wanna wear fashion that is stupid and dun wanna use shit that is ugly… anyone get me???????

if that bookcase was less political – it’d be functional…. (I LOVE IT THOUGH!) just like if fashion didn’t try to be so… um… stupid?

strange, when designers who design functional tings – they usually get it not so wrong…

This is so incredible. This is what I love individuality. When someone isn’t afraid to do what comes to mind, and are not afraid of the reaction they will get. In a creative world, of Music & entertainment where people are so quick to COPY, Music Artist desire to be like another, fans just follow a trend not because they like it but because they think it’s cool because so ans so is doing it, with none their own personality implemented in the style.

What This mas is doing is so refreshing. Art is the Only creative industry left where people are not willing to doing what the masses are not quick to follow. And who know how long that will be for since everyone loves to steal creative ideas from others.

my mistake if it is….

you know, this whole form and function ting – LOVE IT…. but do people want warring bookcases???????? as art/installation pieces they’re fucking rad – but waht you gonna do – put opposing books on each side? as for the missile concept, it sorta makes them dysfunctional… which is cool (i laminated chux once in 1998 – just to make em ‘dysfunctional’) but it DOES take the fuction away…

also, i love the the ordered armies, but when they seem to freestyle? i guess that’s when they’re in battle though….

but i love it and when i first saw it i saw ‘form and function’ – it was brilliant…. but now i just see form and the dysfunctional… ironic really… love it, but it’s a dysfuctional set of bookcases – all with the ‘art of war’ (sun zsu’s a legend!) in different languages…

it’s interesting – it makes form disfunctional – though it’s ironic in the sense that the army is the most ‘functional’ (ie winning and most ruthless) in the world…

hmm… ironic.
