Honestly, I don’t think Kanye is egotistical at all! He is very very very very very very very passionate about his expressions no matter what form it may be in at the time and that statement i JUST MADE is an understatement itself! everyone does NOT love kanye. i don’t know what to think of him…
his music is a bit irritating… samples are good though…
but… it’s sad that his mother died – as a result of plastic surgery and it’s sad that that’s what killed her – the overinflated price of beauty and money.
his mother was a lecturer – and good on her! but kanye isn’t a result of poverty and he is the son of a good woman (who perhaps felt she had to keep up with the fame of her son) but i can’t help but think she was from some sort of old/upper middle class money. is there anything wrong with that? no – not if they give something back… and i can’t help but wonder what kanye is doing with his proceeds (of say, his US$1000 LV sneakers)… is he spending it on kristal?
it’s all getting outta hand. i hope rihanna isn’t getting caught up in that shit. i know… you boys love your money – but i do see that you’re cutting down on the flamboyance, being more philanthropic and getting in tune with the MASSES – who don’t have opportunities you had – but how about a gig for the hoods who have nothing? i know there’s an issue with riots, security and shit and i’m not saying any of you were rich – i’m just saying you weren’t ABSOLUTELY proliteriat… you didn’t grow up in the ghetto (CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG…) and i know the working (or non-working welfare) class CAN get out of the rut – but it’s not as easy as you all think…
sometimes i think kanye has a chip on his shoulder… like – just cause he didn’t grow up in a ghetto, people hate him… but i think it’s a hubris that affects him.
i didn’t grow up with shit, but i got where i am through hard work – intellectually – but i am still nowhere due to a global system and econonomy that keeps people down…
now, i know pharrell thinks that anyone with talent or intelligence can get where they wanna be – but it’s not that easy! pharrellimon – i know you wish that everyone who has something can dream and get there – and that you think it’s easy (with hard work)… but… even with hard work, it’s OPPORUNITY, MONEY and LUCK that plays such a HUGE role in life… look at paris hilton and her fuct up heir friends! money brings money (but not class or intelligence!!!)
all that said, i’ll jump off my soap box, burn that ayn rand book and shut up (like ‘they’ want me to – shut up that is…)
which brings me to my point, don’t ya just love copyright (if you can afford it!)
