Love KAWS, Love Shel Silverstein (Where the Wild Things Are), Love Cudi because I grew up in the midwest (STL) and went to college in Ohio (where he’s from) AND he’s just DOPE, and I like Keri Hilson’s shoes and job title.

Both are talented individuals. Its pathtic how a person can say awful stuff here. Hate is a very strong word that you could never take back once you say it. We don’t ever want to push an artist over the edge to harm themselves and its comments like this that cause artist to feel that they aren’t loved. This society has a tendency to push artist to the edge like they did many artist who become addicted to drugs and had to go to rehab or commit suicide. A lady in DC created MAMA said shirts. On it list all the stuff your mother would teach you as a kid and one of them was if you don’t have nothing good to say then don’t say it at all.
WE BELIEVED IN CHANGE AND CHANGE IS HERE WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA. NOW ITS OUR TIME TO CHANGE OUR ATTITUDES TOWARD ONE ANOTHER.
ITS ALSO PATHETIC HOW AN ARTIST HAS TO STOOP REALLY LOW TO DISS OTHER ARTIST IN MUSIC BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO RAP OR SING ABOUT. IT WOULD BE GREAT IT EVERYONE JUST BE AS HUMBLE AS PHARRELL, SHAE, CLIPSE,CHAD, FAM-LAY KANYE WEST, KERI KILSON,KID-CUDI AND TEYANNA TAYLOR.

^@purplerainqueen Girl, I hear you but you can’t internalize hate or let it get to you. It’s a waste of your space and energy. It’s a never-ending battle, it starts with Genesis. Where there’s good, there’s probably a little evil lurking too, it’s just how much attention you give the evil or stock you put into it that makes it really real, powerful or present. I can’t internalize any negativity. There’s too much good on this blog for my bright eyes to even see the hate. It’s like, I can’t (and don’t) even read it. It’s freedom of speech, 5th Amendment. People are entitled to their opinions about whatever. That’s what gives us a unique indentity and engaging in conversation encourages THOUGHT. If I could predict what everyone would say or do in life I’d be bored to tears. But I hear you loud in clear, purplerainqueen and I’ve got your back. Power, positive thinking guys. I don’t know Keri personally so I have no personal opinion of her but I empower young, black females. She’s doing what few do in the industry with her writing ability. Now if she disses me on an album or something I’ll be clowning on her right back. But with class, and not publicly.
