Things That Make You Say Hmm

Mitsubishi Electric Corp and IGI Corp are developing a $21 Billion solar power station in space which will beam down energy to Japan.  Apparently, enough energy to power 294,000 homes.  It should be ready in 4 years.  Sounds really interesting but somewhat scary at the same time.

    AWESOME!

What’s scariest is that if this works and catches on, the sky is the limit..literally. If the universe is infinite, others will utilize the space and do the same. Like real-estate. We are sooooo frightened that we may run out of energy, but are we toiling unneccesarily by playing with our advanced theories and chemicals and manipulating everything, opposed to sticking a straw into space and finding a simple solution? We are hurting things by polluting, but the earth seems to have the capacity to regenerate. That will be the true test to see if space is endless, infinite, boundless, etc. In the future, (if this works) people will try to extrapulate, in the same way as Mitsubishi. If research says the universe is endless, then we believe it is but is it a proven fact? If there could be something outside of space, what could it be? I don’t believe it’s darkness. According to the Big Bang Theory, the universe is expanding, but what can it be expanding into if it’s infinite? Not to be metaphysical but something cannot come from nothing if it takes energy to create it. We exist therefore something is infinite whether we call it God, enegy or Mickey Mouse’s House.

Man, Japan is so ahead of the curve. Ladies and gentleman, we are no longer solely confined to earth. There are orbits and galaxies we will be spending a lot more time in and amongst, in terms of interaction. I’m ready to meet the aliens. :-) Question is, will the life outside of us exist of beings that are equal, inferior, superior or just like, cute pets? :-)

    Sham fu&king wow!!!…………

SommerSoft i feel ya guuuryl…in 4yrs when this concept burst thru, @ the “break of dawn”, it will surely be interesting 2 c how many different ideas will prolifically surface and corporealize in order to extraneously utilize the space…the thought of that is jus’ a lil spine-chilling to me…but…fascinating and alluring at the same time…only time will tell!
