You think his Empire State of Mind song would be better in a video like this?? Then those people that don’t pay attention to lyrics would see his words “Jesus can’t save you, life starts when the church ends”

How about in his video for On To The Next One, how right before he says “Yall should be afraid of what Im gonna do next” a christian cross with Jesus right on it, two bullets, one on each side, instantly flashes on the screen, you don’t see it unless you slow down the video. But there is a lot of not so good images in that video. I will admit, It’s a really cool video if you just watch it, and bob your head.

Pharrell, you have another video posted, your talking about 14yr olds and up getting good info, with regard to politics, but what about positive lyrics and images in music?
I realize this is not yours, it’s Jay’s however, you work with him, and obviously support his work, but yet you claim to be on God’s team….. Let’s go with a hypothetical… work with me… Let’s say back when Michael Jordan played for the Bull’s, what if in the middle of the game he decided to start passing the ball to the Knicks, and blocking his own team members shots??? Hmmm, probally wouldn’t have won as many championships as they did, probally wouldn’t be considered the greatest basketball player of all time.

Im just saying, if your down with God should you really be supporting and working with folks that are “sketchy” on the subject.

If your down with getting “Good” info to the kids, maybe supporting those putting out not so “good” lyrics, and images shouldn’t be your “thing” either.
