Versailles Private Viewing
It’s an amazing feeling to find yourself in Versailles without the thousands of visitors who visit the castle everyday. Versailles is closed to the public on Mondays so it was the perfect opportunity for Takashi Murakami to show Pharrell his exhibit.
We posted some photos from the dinner but the exhibit really comes to life with day light coming through the windows.
The Hall of Mirrors is a much more pleasant walk when it’s empty… Takashi and his staff had to install the show at night while the castle was closed and also often slept there. That had to be an amazing experience as well.
The Simple Things are part of the show and the collaborators take some time off to discuss the awesome setting

Aww…Does Pharrell have a little cute pot belly? Everytime I look at the pictures with the SAME CLOTHES HE’S BEEN WEARING FOR 2 WEEKS NOW it looks like he’s pregnant! Aww, how cute!! I LOVE YOU PHARRELL!!

Wow! Amazing. Breath taking. A sight for sore eyes. I’m talking about P of course. j/p the art obviously. Murakami’s work just blossoms with fun. That’s what I love the most.
