Ham
Kanye and Jay-Z might be talking about H.A.M. today but 50 year ago today, an Astrochimp named Ham really went H.A.M. by taking a 20 minutes trip to space and actually using controls on the space ship to bring it back down to Earth safely. The photo below was taken right after he landed and he couldn’t be happier. We salute you Ham!

Beats, Rhymes and Life
Some of us were lucky to get to the premiere of Michael Rapaport’s documentary on A Tribe Called Quest at Sundance this past weekend. Pharrell couldn’t make it but appears a few times in what will probably go down as one of the best Hip Hop documentaries of all times.
