Berengo Studio, Venice/Murano Italy

The Berengo Studio also owns an older glass factory on Murano which they transformed into a museum but will also be one of the venues for GLASSTRESS.  We were amazed at what the glass masters can make, hit the jump for a few examples.

These are casts which is one of the glass blowing techniques used in Murano to make glass sculptures.

Some of these glass sculptures are rather creepy.

Agreed. There is def a dark side to some of the sculptures. But nonetheless, very skilled craftsmanship.

Glass making would surely be my new hobby after a visit as shared. It’s inspirational.
