ICECREAM DREAMS

Team ICECREAM has always been more than just a skate team. With values grounded in diversity, we tap skaters with different backgrounds that bring fresh perspectives to the sport and community. Brought together by a shared love of skateboarding, our mission has always been to spread the love and give back to the community that we come from.

To better support our skaters and the wider skateboarding community, we are proud to announce the ICECREAM DREAMS Program.

The new program will be a continuous effort from Team ICECREAM to tap even further into the community by supporting and amplifying skaters of color.

For our first ICECREAM DREAMS initiative, we are tapping Minus Skate Shop— a Black-owned shop in Carmel, Indiana, founded and owned by Aaron Vaughn.

With more than a decade of experience in skating, Aaron shares his passion through his shop that has been around since 2019. The energy that he brings to Minus Skate Shop is what helps it stand apart—aside from the fact that it is the only Black-owned skate shop for miles and miles in the state. Native to Indiana himself, Aaron Vaughn often brings people together in a way that fosters deep relationships within the community. Like, his Push for Peace skate meetup he hosted in Downtown Indianapolis during the BLM movement.

The shop ensures all skaters can find what they are looking for from a well-curated selection of skate brands. Minus customers will find a wide variety of skateboard decks, hardware and accessories, as well as shoes and apparel. Vaughn also offers full skateboard service and repairs at the shop.

Catch the Minus x ICECREAM t-shirt available exclusively at the Minus Skate Shop, located at 622 S Rangeline Rd suite F, Carmel, IN 46032

The t-shirt will be available in three colorways, and will retail for $50 with 100% of all proceeds from sales benefitting the skate shop.
