Team ICECREAM goes beyond being just a skate team, valuing diversity and seeking skaters with different backgrounds to bring fresh perspectives to the sport and community. United by a love for skateboarding, our mission is to spread love and give back to our community. We're excited to introduce the ICECREAM DREAMS Program, a continuous effort to support and amplify skaters of color.
In our first ICECREAM DREAMS initiative, we're partnering with Minus Skate Shop, a Black-owned store in Carmel, Indiana, founded by experienced skater Aaron Vaughn. Established in 2019, Minus Skate Shop stands out not only as the sole Black-owned skate shop in the state but also due to the positive energy Aaron brings. He has a decade of skating experience and has successfully fostered deep community relationships, exemplified by events like the Push for Peace skate meetup in Downtown Indianapolis during the BLM movement.
Minus Skate Shop offers a well-curated selection of skate brands, ensuring skaters can find what they need, including skateboard decks, hardware, accessories, shoes, and apparel. Additionally, Aaron provides comprehensive skateboard services and repairs.
