Reebok x Icecream Board Flip: HOMECOMING™ Lagos
In advance of the May 1 release, Reebok and Icecream marked the beginning of the Board Flip rollout in Lagos during HOMECOMING™ from April 2–6, anchoring the moment within one of the most influential gatherings shaping music, fashion, and creative expression today.
The week was grounded in time spent within the city, honoring Lagos life and spending time alongside the local skate community at WAF Skatepark.
At WAF Skatepark
The program unfolded as an open skate jam and best trick session, with the Board Flip worn and tested in real time. The format was simple and direct, allowing the product to be experienced as intended.
Notable attendees included Kader Sylla (@laterkader), known for his fluid, technical style and early rise through Baker, Supreme, and Adidas Skateboarding, alongside Samyel Kaizar and members of the local skate community.
Time spent at WAF was deliberate, allowing the Board Flip to be experienced in the environment it was designed for, in direct dialogue with the community that continues to shape its relevance.

Why Lagos. Why HOMECOMING™.
Lagos continues to shape the global conversation with a pace and point of view that is distinctly its own. HOMECOMING™ (@ourhomecoming) sits at the center of that energy, bringing together local communities and the diaspora in a way that feels both immediate and continuous.
For Reebok and Icecream, beginning the rollout here was rooted in alignment, taking part in a setting where the energy, audience, and perspective are already in place.
About WAF
WAF Skate Park operates as the center of skateboarding in Lagos. Located within Freedom Park on Lagos Island, it sits within a broader ecosystem built by WAF, a Lagos-based collective that has been shaping skateboarding and creative expression in the city since 2012.
Developed as Nigeria’s first fully concrete skatepark built to Olympic standards, the space provides critical infrastructure for a community that has grown through its own initiative. It functions as both a daily meeting point and a platform for progression, with skaters, artists, and creatives consistently returning to the park.
Product Details
The Reebok x Icecream Board Flip Pink Lemonade and Watermelon reimagine the original silhouette in pink/red and green/pink colorways.
Constructed with a leather upper featuring perforated panels, suede eyestays, and a textured rubber toe cap, the design includes Icecream branding on the tongue, heel, and sockliner, alongside an embroidered Cones & Bones logo on the rear lateral heel.
It is finished with an injection EVA midsole with painted grooves, a rubber outsole with toe wrap and Icecream detailing, skate-ready tread, textile lining, and two lace options. Each pair arrives in a custom Icecream box.
“The Board Flip represents a specific moment for us, so bringing it back was about doing it with intention,” said Ross Westland, Creative Director of Billionaire Boys Club Icecream. “Watermelon reintroduced the silhouette in a way that felt familiar. Pink Lemonade builds on that momentum while introducing something new, without losing what made it work in the first place.”
“In its own way, the Board Flip holds a distinct place in skate shoe history,” said James West, Icecream. “They were the first of their kind, and as someone who owned a pair when they originally came out, it’s been special to see them get the re-release they deserve.”
The 2026 Board Flip will be available for $150 MSRP, with a BBC Icecream exclusive release on May 1 at bbcicecream.com, bbcicecream.eu and our U.S. flagship stores, followed by a global launch on May 6 at 10 AM EST on reebok.com.
