Billionaire Girls Club is hyped to announce our second artist partnership with the artist D’ana of COVL. We tapped multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller, COVL, who uses her Latinx cultural background to inspire most of her vibrant work.
“Cuando puedas cuanto seas” is seen printed on a statement hoodie from the capsule— which translates to “when you can, when you are ready and able--- take up space in this world,”— a mantra that fuels D’ana in her artistic journey.
COVL reimagines Billionaire Girls Club’s classic logos and graphics with her colorful and dreamy artwork, incorporating her signature surreal flower design and fun bubble-style graphics throughout the capsule, which includes a coaches jacket, matching hoodie and sweat-short, one crewneck and two t-shirts.
To create our dreamy visuals, D’ana enlisted her fellow creatives to be featured in the official COVL x Billionaire Girls Club lookbook—photographed by Alex G. Harper— including visual artist and DJ, Quiana Parks, and founder of BWC Garments, Joshua Lang.
In celebration of the partnership, we're hosting a COVL takeover at our homebase located at the BBC ICECREAM NYC Flagship. Customers will be able to meet the artist and have a special edition BGC x COVL print signed, and enjoy special patchwork customizations by the Griggs Brothers.
The COVL x Billionaire Girls Club capsule will be available exclusively at the BBC ICECREAM NYC Flagship, Miami store and on bbcicecream.com on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 12pm ET.
The COVL takeover will take place at the NYC Flagship located at 7 Mercer St, New York, NY 10012 from 2pm - 6pm ET.
