The Merchandise Planner will own and direct the development and execution of merchandise planning initiatives for Billionaire Boys Club. Based in New York, the Merchandise Planner will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing inventory, and optimizing product assortments across global regions. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals and enhance product performance.

Sales/Business Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance, making data-driven adjustments to plans and strategies. Generate key takeaways and action points on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Develop top-down and bottom-up financial targets and provide planning guidance for all projections and buys to ensure proper penetration by Brands, product category and mix.

Assortment/SKU Planning: Create and manage product plans that align with seasonal trends, regional nuances, and customer preferences. Guide the merchandising team on line-planning and product roadmapping. Drive weekly business discussions with Global Merchandising and Regional channels to analyze the business, digging deeper into selling trends.

Open-to-Buy (OTB) Management: Lead the OTB process, developing, managing, and adjusting forecasts and receipt targets to achieve financial goals.

Inventory Management: Forecast FG and WIP inventory monthly and review trends to maintain optimal levels to avoid overstock and stockouts, manage replenishment business, and drive results, adjusting based on real-time sales data.

Gross Margin Planning: Develop strategies to optimize gross margins by balancing product costs and pricing.

Reporting: Provide regular retail performance reports related to sales, margin, inventory, and market trends to management. to the team to develop plans driving the Annual Financial Plan targets. This will include developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting tools and standardized processes to identify improvement opportunities and enhance team productivity.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with design, marketing, and sales teams for smooth product launches and promotions. Drive weekly business discussions with Global Merchandising and Regional channels to analyze the business, digging deeper into selling trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail/Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a retail or brand environment, including time as a Merchandise Planner or Retail Business Analyst, with global merchandising experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Retail Math.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
- Highly critical thinker that can make decisions with imperfect information.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with strong time management skills.
- Experience with streetwear and DTC/e-commerce is preferred.
